8th Open Trophy 21, 22 & 23 July 2017
The 8th edition of Open Trophy takes place on 21, 22 & 23 July 2017 in Chimay (BE). It is the ideal transition between the classic competition, which take place the previous week-end, and the modern competition of road racing.
All the Belgian championship category of modern speed are represented and opened to all foreign pilots, namely the BeNeCup, the Supersport, the Superbike and the Sidecars Open, which is a category really appreciated by the Anglo-saxon. Furthermore, the FMB-BMB has this year added two new categories; the SuperTwin Class and the Thunder Class. These two competitions are made for bike including 2 cylinders maximum. Visit the BELGIAN TWIN TROPHY website to learn more about the regulation and the modalities of these two categories.
We also welcome the races of the International Road Racing Championship, which is a championship disputed on German, Dutch, Czechoslovakia, Finnish and Belgian road racing.
The IPC125cc stay in the line and will be accompanied by the IPC250cc. This is the perfect occasion to see once again the 250 prototypes of 80′ & 90′.
The 70′ to 90′ nostalgics will be delighted by a true endurance race “post-classic”. The two 1-hour race are reserved to bikes of this time and are ruled by two rankings according to their date of fabrication. Welcome to the Suzuki GS Martin and GSXR, the Kawasaki Godier-Genoud, the BMW, the Ducati, Honda Bol d’or or RC30. We are looking forward to seeing some famous pilots who have raced the mythical 200 miles of Chimay.
